Founded by Pastor David Bwoye (right) in 2007. Barnabas Evangelical Ministries International exits for the purpose of reaching out, transforming and sustaining man spiritually, physically and materially.   Pastor David Bwoye hails from Walibo village, Iganga District. He is married to his lovely wife Irene Bwoye who is also a pastor in one of the Churches planted by the ministry (Walibo Church of God Maranatha). They have been married since 1986 and they have been blessed with 6 children; Charles 23, Evelyn 19, Sarah 17, Isaac 15, Ezra 13, Rebecca 10.  Apart from being the founder of the Ministry, Pastor David is also the Overseer; CHURCH OF GOD MARANATHA churches in the Eastern region.   Pastor David is a living testimony himself as the devil tried to fight his destiny in so many ways through sicknesses, witch craft practiced by those who wanted to see him off before his salvation. In 1990, he was a distiller of Waragi (Local brew) and that is where the Lord Jesus met him.

The purpose(s) for the existence of the Ministry among others is to raise  people for Jesus Christ, who is coming soon (MARANATHA) and also to: Reach out to Lost through Salvation Equippe the saints with the message of the Cross. Establish the End time Church Disciple the nations of the World Provide peoples’ needs both spiritually and materially (Material needs like; Health & Sanitation, Education through training opportunities of all sorts and general welfare).
